Our compostable paper food cups are made with a biodegradable coating on the inside and outside of the cups whereas other paper food cups have a petrochemical-based coating. The coating is made from NatureWorks PLA, which comes from 100% corn! Being coated on the inside and outside, these earth friendly food cups are great for hot soup as well as frozen icecream. They perform the same as conventional soup coups or conventional icecream cups. These ECO cups will biodegrade in a commercial composting environment in approximately 45 days.
